First Time Moms Club

A woman with long brown hair, eyes closed, gently kisses a person's hand.

Who it's for

For first time moms and their babies who are 0-4 months.

This group is all about being a space where you and your baby can get some support and do what you need. Our space is set up for breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, diaper changes, and everything that comes up in early motherhood.

What you can expect

Each group meets for 75 minutes a week, for six weeks. Marah leads each session — opening with a check-in and then having a conversation about a specific topic. Topics we cover often include:

  • The surprise and shifting expectations in early motherhood

  • Relationships — with your partner, your parents, your friends, your changing self

  • Ambivalence about returning to work

  • Trusting yourself as a new mom

What's shared in the group stays in the group. We're a small, intentional space.

Why a therapist led group

Early motherhood is a special and vulnerable time when a lot comes up. My hope is that our groups make space for all that comes up and that people feel held and supported through it all.

Logistics
