Beehive moms is all about support and connection for new moms.
Beehive moms is a space where new moms can share experiences, learn about resources, and be there for one another. The goal is to provide support as you embark on this exciting, emotional, and challenging transition — and to help you connect with a vibrant community of new moms and local resources.
Bees are symbols of new beginnings, dedication, and togetherness. The queen bee can’t pollinate flowers on her own – she does it with the help of her hive.
So what exactly is Beehive Moms? We offer mom groups and individual therapy. Plus, we are building the beehive moms directory of local resources for everything you need as a new mom.

I founded beehive moms because when I became a new mom, I kept wondering — how could I give birth and then not have any other check in until my 6-week appointment? I was shocked by how limited the local community support was for new moms. Even though I had read lots of books and followed way too many instagram mom accounts, I felt completely surprised by my postpartum experience — especially by how alone and emotionally overwhelmed I felt.
Luckily, I had friends who were also new moms and it was the coffee dates and late night texts with them in those early days that got me through. I realized how important it was to be together with other new moms and I wanted to create that community for others too — the hive of beehive moms.
I am a therapist and a mom to two children. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have advanced training in Perinatal Mood Disorders and Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy through Postpartum Support International. I am passionate about providing support for new moms, both as a therapist and by bringing community together.
“I loved meeting new moms at the same stage as me and in my new neighborhood. While I have some mama friends from previous life stages, I feel like I didn’t have anyone right around the corner before this group. Knowing that we all chose to join and create new connections helped create comfort from the start. It’s hard making new friends and isolating being a new mom anyway, so having a set time and place to come together and support each other was amazing.” — Former group member
